Chinese proficiency tests

Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK), Youth Chinese Test (YCT) HSK and YCT are official standardized and internationally recognized tests to determine the Chinese language skills of non-native speakers. The various tests have different requirements and are aimed at specific target groups.

The Chinese Hanban (central department for Chinese lessons abroad) assesses and issues certificates.

Registration is online only at http://www.chinesetest.cn (“Test Registration” or “考试报名”). Please note the registration deadlines.

Further information (checklist, amount of participation fees, course of the exam) will be announced on our website in advance of the respective exam dates.

Chinese proficiency test

The HSK exam is an official, standardized and internationally recognized test to determine the Chinese language skills of non-native speakers. It is comparable to the „Test of English as a Foreign Language“ (TOEFL) or the „Japanese Language Proficiency Test“ (JLPT). The HSK certificate serves:
